This system can be recharged by regular AC power or solar
generated power. If the power grid goes down, all you need is sunlight
and solar panels to
harvest real clean electricity during daylight hours. This power can

generators, but there will be sunlight!
This system can power devices that run on up to 1250 Watts AC continuously, or DC power up to 1920 Watts at 12.8v DC. This means you can power endless different devices. Below is a list of some of the equipment that you can power from this particular system:
This system has a "Lithium Iron Phosphate" LiFePo4 battery, which has a capacity of 100 Amp Hours / 1280 Watt Hours / 1.28 Kwh. The weight of the main case is 60 pounds, which is great when you compare it to competitor's 100Ah systems that use old heavy battery technology called AGM or Lead Acid Batteries that weigh 100+ pounds!
Why LiFePo4 Batteries?
The battery is also rated to provide 2000
full charge/discharge cycles, which is great compared to the heavier AGM
batteries that will only last 300 cycles!
The LiFePo4 battery also contains no toxic ingredients which is Earth
conscientious. These batteries will not ignite, explode, or catch fire,
unlike the more dangerous Lithium batteries like Lithium
Polymer or Lithium Ion batteries that can ignite and violently explode
under certain conditions.
Another advantage that LFP batteries offer is that they usually provide right at 100% of their rated capacity when large amounts of power is pulled out of the battery. Meaning you will get 95-100% of the power you put into the battery back out, verses the 60-70% from AGM batteries. When draining AGM batteries under high loads, that other 30-40% turns into heat and you never get to use that solar power that you harvested.
This system can be recharged with the included 10 Amp/ 12 Hour AC
can be plugged into any 120v or 240v AC wall outlet to recharge the
empty to full in about 12 hours. The system can also be recharged via
solar energy by plugging in solar panels to the solar input port, which
can handle 200 Watts of solar input continuously from our portable solar
panels. We also have 2 Hour Quick Chargers also
available upon request for additional cost.
The 120w portable folding glass solar panels are more cost-effective, but are more fragile and weigh more than the folding solar panels. It just depends on your budget and solar needs to determine which panels are best for you. Here is a link to the 120 glass portable folding solar panels. This system is shown with 2x 75 Watt High Efficiency folding solar panels, but it can be used with up to 3x 75w folding solar panels if desired. You can hook the system up to a solar array that is larger than 200w but the system will only use 200 watts to charge the battery at any given time. If the 75w solar panels are not available we can substitute them with these 62w solar panels.
The solar charge controller uses Maximum Power Point Tracking
technology that constantly maximizes the output of any solar panel
that is connected to this LFP 100 System. Maximum Power Point
Tracking constantly sweeps the voltage output range of the solar
panel to see at witch voltage the panel is producing the maximum amount
of power, then the charge controller locks the voltage at the Maximum
Power Point thus giving you get maximum power out of the panels. This process is
repeated constantly when the solar panels are hooked up and
This Maximum Power Point Tracking process can give you up to a 30% increase in daily solar harvest when compared to other systems that do not use Maximum Power Point Tracking on solar input. If you are using a system that does not use Maximum Power Point Tracking then you are not harvesting all the power you could be, and you end up with less power generated over the course of the day.
There is a compact 1250 Watt AC Power Inverter inside the case that has 3 regular US style 120v outlets where you can plug in your AC equipment. The 1250 Watt AC inverter is a Modified Sine Wave Inverter that has a very simple ON/Off switch beside the 3 AC outlets to turn the inverter ON or OFF when not in use. The inverter has 2 fans on the right side of the case that run constantly while the inverter is on to keep the inverter cool. There is a green LED that is displayed when the inverter is ON and power is available from the battery. There is also a red LED next to the green LED that will display if any error occurs such as Over Heating, Over Current, Short Circuit, Over or Under Battery Voltage. This a very simple and easy to use inverter that was chosen because of the compact size that fits nicely inside the case. Other inverters can be used with this system by hooking them up to the Lighter Outlets or the main remote 12v battery terminals on the front of the case which can supply up to 150 Amp @ 12v DC.
There is electronic digital battery protection built into this system that provides effortless battery protection for Under Voltage, Over Voltage, and Short Circuits if they were to ever occur. There is a simple ON / OFF latching push button with a green LED on the top panel of the case, and this button is used to turn the 12v output ON or OFF. When the 12v output is ON the Green LED is illuminated to indicate that the battery is charged and there is 12v Power being supplied to the ports. When the battery becomes fully discharged the output from the battery will be disconnected to prevent over discharge and the green LED on the button will turn off. To reset the output to begin solar or AC charging just push the ON / OFF switch down and then back up, and power will be restored and charging can begin. If there is a short circuit the fault can be rest by this same process.

There are internal resettable breakers for the solar charge controller and the two cigarette lighter outlets which are fused for 15 Amps each. No fuses are needed, all that is needed in the event that a over current situation occurs and causes a breaker to trip is to cycle the ON/OFF/Reset button on the LFP 100 System, and power will be supplied again to the affected output port. No need to ever seek out replacement fuses.

The LFP 100 main system case weighs 60 pounds. The Black Bag (Solar Panels + Cord + AC Charger + 6w LED Light) weighs 23 Pounds. The 75w Solar Panels weigh 6 Pounds each, the alternative 62w solar panels weigh 3.1 pounds each.This system is custom built by hand in the USA. Depending on our current production capacity, the ship time for this system can be anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks to build the system, test the system, and then ship the total package.
